Rumors are heating up that the Mets will trade Beltran to the Giants for center fielder Gary Brown; hopefully, they'll get at least one other prospect. Brown currently has the ninth-highest average in the California League: .317. He's second in stolen bases with 39, but has been caught stealing 14 times. He leads the league in hits with 127 and is fourth in triples with six. The 22-year-olds greatest asset is his speed.
