Minaya, Mets Too Passive As Trade Deadline Passes

"In brutal loss to Diamondbacks, Jerry Manuel and New York Mets tell fans that the season is over."

Afer reading the above story written by the Daily News' Bill Madden, you may want to to spend a minute in silence for the 2010 Mets. But is the reason the Mets didn't upgrade their team because they don't want to trade any of their better prospects or is it because Wilson has ordered Minaya not to increase the payroll?

Does the Mets management realize the message that it has sent to both the fans and the players. If the team plays .500 or better ball for the rest of this season, it will be a miracle.

☛ Interesting article on the Cyclones Darrell Ceciliani.

☛ Matt den Dekker went 2-4 today for the GCL Mets with a double, a walk, and three RBIs.
