Mets potential 2010 starting rotation not one of the better ones

In an article yesterday, Marty Noble predicted that the Mets 2010 starting rotation will include Santana, Pelfrey, Perez, Niese, and Nieve. If that's their actual starting rotation, don't expect the Mets to contend for the pennant next season. Santana's coming off elbow surgery, Pelfrey and Perez are too inconsistent, Niese is also recovering from surgery, and Nieve — who knows what he'll be able to do?
