Yesterday, I labeled the Mets as unpredictable. Today, I'd like to add another adjective to the mix: unbelievable. Is injured? Worse, how could Jerry Manuel allow Santana to stay in the game long enough to surrender nine hits, nine runs, and two walks is beyond words. Wasn't it obvious to Manuel early on that Santana didn't have his best stuff? What was Manuel trying to prove?
I am now convinced that the Mets will never win a World Series with Minaya and Manuel at the helm.
