If Ike Davis wants to be more than a platoon player for the Mets, he'll need to learn to hit lefties. This season at St. Lucie, Davis is hitting .327 against righties but only .186 against lefties.
One site that revealed Davis' hitting stats when he played for Arizona State didn't break them down by how he did against righties and lefties. However, each year in college he had a higher batting average than the year before, hitting .385 in his final season.
