Mets mess up another one

The court jesters of baseball blew another game yesterday. In Little League baseball I was taught the benefits of catching a ball with two hands. Too bad Luis Castillo forget that lesson. It's unbelievable that the ball bounced out of his glove.

The trade for Castillo was another of Minaya's mistakes, a deal for another player past his prime. A second mistake Minaya made this season was not signing Orlando Hudson. Hudson is having an All-Star season with the Dodgers. His OPS is .834 compared with Castillo's .712.

Francisco Rodriguez didn't deserve to lose that game. But even more than failing Rodriguez, the Mets once again failed the fans.
