Mets affiliates scrape bottom

The Philadelphia Inquirer printed on Sunday the top three winningest minor league organization in 2007 and the bottom three. The winningest with their win percentages: Yankees (.580), Giants (.575), and Brewers (.565). And the losingest: White Sox (.454), Padres (.449), and the Mets (.442). That ranking includes all the players that GM Omar Minaya drafted in 2007.

Yes, the Mets' affiliates are the lowest ranked. Minaya has a lot more work to do if he wants to make the Mets' minor league organization better able to meet the New York Mets future needs.
