MLB changing baseball's stats game

⚾️ Baseball Savant is the base for Major League Baseball's multimillion dollar invasion of the world of baseball statistics, begun in April 2015 with Statcast's introduction. 

Statcast is an information feeder to the analytic departments of all of MLB's teams. As Statcast's advances progress, so does the look of the stats that MLB presents. 

Now supplementing the old steadfast, the box score, are new views such as the one in the tweet below.

🥎 Mets Team OBP Near Top of MLB

In the 2018 regular season, the Mets ranked 21st in Major League Baseball in team OBP with .312. That's similar to how they did in the 2018 spring training when they ranked 20th with an OBP of .326.
