Time for Mets to Consider a Change

The current team will never win a championship. The Mets need to seriously consider trading by the trading deadline Jason Bay, Franscisco Rodriguez, and Mike Pelfrey. In addition, I'm suspicious of Jose Reyes' performance this year. It's not unusual for a player whose contract is expiring to escalate his performance in his final season. He has additional incentive for doing so: money. After some team gives him a large, multiyear contract, will his performance upswing continue? Finally, David Wright isn't the same player he once was. Whether it's because of CitiField or some other factor, he's at best, an above-average player. If I were the Mets GM I'd like to know what other teams are willing to offer to get those players.
