Johan Santana: A winner who'll win again.
Mike Pelfrey: A youngster still trying to figure out how to win.
John Maine: In the Big Leagues five years, he's only won more than 10 games once. If he can't win more than that this year, the Mets need to consider replacing him.
Oliver Perez: Another player who Minaya overpaid to play again with the Mets. He's been in the Majors for seven years and still often seems clueless on the mound.
Livan Hernandez: Last season, he won 13 games, more than both Maine and Perez and as many as Pelfrey. When he isn't pitching, the Mets can use him as a pinch-hitter.
