Baseball America has just released its list of the top 100 prospects. Only four Mets made the list: Fernando Martinez (30), Wilmer Flores (47), Jonathan Niese (77), and Brad Holt (94). Not one was in the top 20.
With all the money the Mets have to spend on player development, you'd think they'd be able to have more than four players in the top 100 and at least one in the top 20. The fact that they have none just reflects how the organization is being run.
