Cyclones out of playoffs

The Cyclones' starter pitched well yesterday, but his efforts were in vain as two of the relievers who followed him allowed the opposition to blow the game open.

In the New York Penn League play-offs, Brooklyn lost to Auburn 7-1. Dillon Gee threw five innings of four-hit, shutout ball, gaining eight of his 15 outs by strikeout. When he left the game, the Clones were up 1-0.

They lost today, 4-1. Season over.
